Battery Switch
Battery Switch
Any views on a good switch for 2 battery set up? The existing set up is shaky.
Hi Noel,
I'm not sure what you mean by battery switch. I have a Vetus battery watch which regulates alternator output so the batteries get a faster charge this comes with a control panel that shows charge remaining in each cell and incorperates an on off relay switch. It works up to 3 batteries. Good bit of kit in my opinion.

Switches
Noel, Shaky?? My boat came (in 1982) with the simple and direct, pos and neg, on/off switches ( two for each battery), approved (at the time) by Lloyds and manufactured by Hella. When I redid the electrical system in 2000 I added a couple more and they have been flawless. ???

Re: Battery Switch
Battery switches had been flawless until this year when a switch for backup battery was not working . My boatyard,
Derecktor Robinhood , found a replacement, installed same and now good to go.
