I need to lift the floor in the saloon , are screws or bolts are used to fasten the table to the sole. Dave Hope 117

Mine have bolts. I removed the table last year to refinish the sole, don't over torque the bolts on installation, you may possibly strip the anchor nuts.

Our boat (058) has 4 bolts screwed into an aluminium plate under the grp. If they’re domed nuts, you take them off leaving the studs behind.

In 2001 I unbolted the table from the threaded large aluminum plate under the plywood sole. Refinished the the flooring , stripped the paint from the aluminum table support post(s), polished it out and had it anodized black.
I refinished the the table and stored the entire assembly forward in the berth area for my trans Atlantic passage.
Four of us did the passage hot bunking the 3 available berths. (The snug pilot berth was the most sought after.)
After arrival the crew left with their gear from the v berth and I reinstalled the table taking care not to strip the aluminum floor plate threading.
